The costs, which will be borne individually by each tourist, are those of transport, in the amount of 30 lei, tasting of 20 lei and the entrance fee to the museum, in the amount of 12 lei/adult, 3 lei/child, 6 lei/ retired. The trip will be organized for a group of 30 people.

We invite you to , in an early autumn setting, on September 10 and 11, in the Amphitheater of the Central Municipal Park.
This weekend, we bring to Zalău local dowries, traditions with taste, which we, those passionate about the richness of our traditions, do not want to forget them. The diligence and skill of the local people, from old times and nowadays, is what we strive to make known and appreciated.
In collaboration with colleagues from the tourist information centers of the communes of Hereclean, Letca, Nușfalău, Plopiș, Sălățig and Şamșud, we are waiting for you with a table full of goodies from the traditional local gastronomy.
We appreciate the time spent outdoors with the loved ones and have fun and learn the value of handmade things in interactive workshops for children and adults, and try our luck in the raffle with prizes provided by local craftsmen and producers. We are excited about the show offered by the folklore professionals From Sălaj.
The 7th edition of the event ”Haidaț' pă la noi! Deschideți lada cu zestre sălăjeană” is organized by the Zalău City Hall, through the National Center for Tourist Information and Promotion and the Municipal House of Culture, in partnership with the Țara Silvaniei Intercommunity Development Association, the County Museum of History and Art Zalău, the local authorities of Hereclean, Letca, Nușfalău, Plopiș, Sălătig and Şamșud communes.

Did you know that if you take a walk in the locality of Jac, on the Cămnin Hill and at Pemnița Monului, you walk in the footsteps of the first Christians of Sălaj?! Passionate about history, inspired by the discoveries of our collaborators from the Zalău County Museum of History and Art and curious to find out the real story of other places in the Silvanie Country, on June 25th, we start from Zalău, with destination Jac, in a route lasting about 6 hours.
Visiting the Christian rock sites at Jac, Dealul Cămnin, in the commune of Creaca, is the reason for the first stop on the proposed route.
As the region of Sălaj is known for the large number of beekeepers, but especially for the accessing the European and national funds by the beekeepers, the second stop will be in Jac. Thus, we will cross the threshold of our host, the Meseșan family, where the well-known beekeeper and producer of honey and other beekeeping products, Mr Cosmin Meseșan, will show us how to process and package honey, using equipment purchased after accessing European funds.
This action is organized by the National Centre for Tourist Information and Promotion Zalău, in collaboration with the County Museum of History and Art Zalău, and is part of the project "Circuit of Seasons", which aims to promote the municipality of Zalău as a starting point on various tourist routes in the county.
The costs, which will be borne individually by each tourist, are those of transport, amounting to 32 lei. The trip will be organized for a group of 20 people. You are welcome to register at the National Centre for Tourist Information and Promotion Zalău, located in the Transylvania Building, Iuliu Maniu Square no. 4 - 6, daily, between 9 am - 5 pm, until 23 June 2022.
We recommend wearing appropriate hiking equipment.
We depart from the parking lot behind Zalău Town Hall at 09:30 and return to Zalău at 15:00.

Hour: 11:30 - Birds Easter egg ornaments are made after an old technique, learned from great grandmother Maria Licuţii, whom we had in 2016 with us at the reconstruction of her wedding, and now unfortunately she’s no longer among us. The workshop is in her honor, on April 20, 2019 she would have been 97 years.
At the end of the workshop, at 15:00, Cătă Țuțu will be with us with some of his horses and we will hear some stories about riding and play therapy with them.
